VHF Trainer Lite

VHF Trainer Lite is the most complete application on the market for learning and practicing about VHF radio, Digital Selective Calling and GMDSS. It is divided into three sections (Learning, Test and Simulation) so you can have an immersive experience aboard a ship, read, train and test all your knowledge in a didactic and fun way.

Here is a new and interactive way of learning the basics of safe boating. The BoatU.S. Simulator must be downloaded to your computer due to the large file size.

Vehicle Simulator (This is the corps ship simulator)

Vehicle Simulator in an open world flying/sailing simulator, having accurate flight physics and marine dynamics.
This simulator allows you to fly, drive and sail where ever you wish, to explore and customize your planes and boats and to train yourself on all forms of flight and sailing.

There is a trial version and the paid verion is about $35 canadian. 

Virtual Sailor

Virtual Sailor simulates the entire sailing experience for boats and ships of all types using accurate dynamics and weather conditions, making it an excellent naval simulator game and and also a marine simulator game.

There is a trial version and the paid verion is about $38.54 canadian. 

Boat Simulator

Do you see yourself in the future? You will have your own yacht or may be you will own ship docks? It looks like a promising future. Now back to the reality! We believe that this vision of yours is realistic, but it will take some time. You do not have to despair. Today you can play simulation and steer a boat everywhere. In this game you will find a yacht, a cargo ship, a fast ship and even a submarine. Choose where you want to go. Quiet water or, rather, an action water with obstacles? Choose and go! Virtual Engine Room – Free Student Version

Virtual Engine Room – Free Student Version is a fully functional simulator of the engine room with a low speed diesel engine and fixed pitch propeller. The simulator is free for the personal use by all students of maritime colleges and trainees from maritime training centres.

VHF-simulator

The VHF simulator is designed so you may practice and learn how to use the basic functions on a VHF, and what purpose the VHF radio serves. The goal is that you by practicing, learn how to use DSC functionality and basic distress and speech procedures.

Bridge Command

Bridge Command is a free interactive ship simulator program for Windows, Apple OSX and Linux. Its aim is to be a training tool for navigation, radar, ship handling, and other seamanship skills. Bridge Command released under the General Public Licence v2, and is available for commercial and non-commercial use.

GDMSS VHF DSC Simulator

This is the GDMSS VHF DSC Simulator used in my training courses. It could be used stand-alone (single PC) or in a LAN network (multiple PC), simulating a real situation with more radio stations.
